World Smokefree Day is about celebrating being smokefree and working towards smokefree/auahi kore lives for New Zealanders.
Also known internationally as World No Tobacco Day, it's a prime opportunity for you to promote being smokefree to your people - at work, at play, and at home with their whānau.
Being smokefree is the norm in New Zealand. Only 16% of us now smoke and fewer young people are starting.
Promote being smokefree to your people in May. And maybe even think about creating a totally smokefree workforce?
The World Smokefree Day website has more information to help you and your workplace to get involved and go smokefree, including a digital toolkit you're more than welcome to use.
