If ever there was a time to do a little something to make someone else's day a little better, today is the day, as it's New Zealand's Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) Day.
Kindness promotes empathy and compassion, which in turn, leads to a sense of connection with others. Being kind to others is also known to reduce stress, boost our immune systems, and help reduce negative emotions such as anger, anxiety, and depression.
Basically, being kind - whether in a random act or generally - makes everyone feel better.
Find RAK ideas you can take to put a smile on someone's face - either someone at your work, or even a random stranger on the street.
Note: World Kindness Day is on November 13.Back to calendar
