Oral health is vitally important, but many of us don't - or don't know how to - take care of our teeth and gums properly.
Run by the New Zealand Dental Association, National Oral Health Day is aimed at raising awareness about the importance of oral health through education, advocacy and access to oral care, and with a focus on a 'switch to water' and away from sugary drinks.
Like any health literacy topic, oral health is an ideal subject for workplace education.
